About the Owen Society
Founded in 2012, The Owen Society began as a live and interactive extension of characters created for Professor Marius Mandragore's Salon Symposium Regarding Spirits, Spells, and Eldritch Craft. The Society regularly adds new characters, explores new stories though the theatrical and video realms, and hosts a monthly presentation and brunch on the last Sunday of the month.

As a small company (from two to five knowledgeable presenters) we offer presentations to interested groups on all manner of esoterica from divination methods to the creation of charms. We can present either in character (and in costume) or as ourselves (scholars of folklore and esoterica).
We have presented interactive panels and theatrical ritual experiences, as a large group, at conventions (Teslacon, Geneva Steam Con, Earth Traditions' Oasis, Mapping the Occult City). We have entertained at both public (Roscoe's Tavern and Dance club, Splash Chicago) and private parties, and can provide many types of divinatory readings including Tarot and Lenormand, Runes, and Ogham.
